Step onto our wraparound lanai (balcony), inhale the sweet scent of tropical flowers, wiggle your toes in the grass, and greet an amazing, elevated view of Honolulu’s modern skyline and Diamond Head’s distinctive volcanic silhouette.

Keep the view close from coffee on the lanai at dawn, to dinner shared at the outdoor table at sunset, to movie night with the family piled on leather sofas in the living area with the Honolulu skyline glittering in front of you.

Despite Ocean View Diamond Head’s far-away feeling, high above the Gold Coast, we’re only 2 miles from Honolulu’s bustle, Waikiki’s gorgeous beach, and Diamond Head. We recommend a car for stress-free transportation around Oahu.

When it’s time to hit the beach or the golf course, we provide all of the gear you need, like golf clubs, beach chairs, beach towels, snorkeling equipment and more. We supply all the indoor necessities, too: from shampoos and lotions to spices and condiments to dish washing and laundry soaps. For little ones, we provide a baby swing, a bouncer, a Bumbo, a high chair, and more. If there’s anything you require, let us know!

The gentle “aloha” spirit of Hawaii captured our hearts, and we strive to pass that feeling on to our guests. We live nearby and want to ensure your stay is exceptional. Most of all, we want to provide a spotless, comfortable place to stay that feels like home—but with perks to remind you you’re on vacation.

When you arrive, a welcome basket will be waiting, brimming with Hawaiian treats like chocolate-covered macadamia nuts, Kona coffee, and fresh, local pineapple to get you started.

Fire up the Weber Genesis grill on the lanai and sear your pineapple alongside fresh seafood or vegetables (there’s a market just ½ mile away), then enjoy at the outdoor dining table with a view that beats those found at any restaurant.

Stick around for the twice-weekly fireworks show! You don’t even have to leave the lanai to claim front row seats as fireworks pop against the dazzling Honolulu skyline. The kids can stretch out on the grass with a bowl of ice cream while the adults enjoy a glass or wine or a cup of after-dinner Kona coffee on one of a dozen garden lounge chairs.

Each of the 3 bedrooms provides a queen-sized bed and a flat-screen television . One bedroom is located downstairs with an in suite bathroom for additional privacy. Three full bathrooms ensure you don’t have to fight over sink space or shower time!

We make green living a priority, too, taking advantage of Hawaii’s plentiful sun with solar-heated water and solar panels to power the home.

To make your trip a little easier and more cost efficient, we'd like to offer one of our own cars-via a car-sharing service-as an easy alternative. We love renting homes to our guests, and figured, why not our cars, too?

We have our own Robinson-family fleet of vehicles, which includes a 2015 LX seven seater Honda Odyssey minivan dedicated to OVDH through a car-sharing service, called Turo, the unlimited use of this van is included in your quoted pricing.
